I am David Grimes, a Photographer and something more. I have created this site to explore, explain, maybe discover who I am and how I got here.
You can access all facets of my photography with a lot of the back-story, the motivations and the narrative of the images as well as the philosophies that drive me.
Photography has given me a place in the world as an observer, a neutral party to the activities that go on around me. It provides me access, kind of a “back stage pass” to the world; to places, to people and to adventure.
Photography has been my way of interacting with the world. It enables my perspective as an observer.
My photographs are fairly simple, always literal and I try to say something with my images.
